أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ

Ara'ayta alladhee yukadhdhibu biddeen

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense

فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ

Fadhaalikal-ladhee yadu''ul-yateem

For that is the one who drives away the orphan

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ

Wa laa yahuddu 'alaa ta'aamil-miskeen

And does not encourage the feeding of the poor

فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ

Fawaylun lil-musalleen

So woe to those who pray

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ

Alladheena hum 'an salaatihim saahoon

Who are heedless of their prayer

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ

Alladheena hum yuraa'oon

Those who make show of their deeds

وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ

Wa yamna'oona al-maa'oon

And withhold small kindnesses
